1.   Global Business Resource Center

The Global Business Resource Center provides materials like books, references, handbooks, maps, DVDs, and videos. There are 2 computers that can be used to find information about international business. There are also flags of all country and three clocks which show times from different part of the world. Students can also got lots of information about BIE’s activities, International Business Student Association, and International Business degree program.    

 

2.   Faculty Development 

The BIE Grant Program supported lots of faculty development, like professional conferences, Research Abroad, Exchange Scholars, and International Workshops and Seminars. Here is the list of faculty development:

3.   Seminar & Workshop 

BIE invited a lot of professionals, professors and scholars to give presentation in PSU. Here is the list:

4.   Cultural Event 

BIE also supported lots of cultural event in PSU to introduce different cultures from all over the world to PSU students and local Pittsburg society. Here is the list of events:

5.   Course Development 

BIE developed some new courses with the help of some PSU professors:

b.      Geography of East Asia by Dr. Tom Bailey & Catherine Hooey.

c.       Islamic Heritage from West Africa to Central Asia by Dr. Stephen Harmon.

BIE supported a student of PSU for an international internship. The student is Izabela Ruiz and the internship is in Italy.
