O. Gene Bicknell is a part-time Lecturer in the Department of Management and Marketing at Pittsburg State University. Currently, he teaches a graduate level entrepreneurship class. He has taught courses through the military in business and supply procedures, and has been a guest lecturer at Pittsburg State University in the business, speech, drama and communications departments. He received a B.S. , an MBA and an Honorary Doctorate of Humanities degree from Pittsburg State University. Mr. Bicknell is Chairman of the Board of O. Gene Bicknell, Inc., National Pizza Company, Pitt Plastics, Inc., Skippers, Inc, National Equipment Co., National Mills and Dyco, Pitt Leasing, C & M Energies, and OGB, Inc. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Parkview Land Developers, Inc., and Prussers Rum. Additionally, Bicknell has been involved in community affairs including: President of the PSU Alumni Association, City of Pittsburg Distinguished Service Award, Chamber of Commerce, United Way, President of PSU Foundation, former Mayor of Pittsburg, Board of Trustees of Mt. Carmel Medical Center, Kelce School of Business Board of Advisors, Founder of the O. Gene Bicknell Center for Entrepreneurship at Pittsburg State University, and the USD 250 Board of Education.
