BEFORE AND AFTER
REGALIA
All persons who wish to participate in the ceremony are required to wear academic regalia. Candidates who have not already obtained caps and gowns should contact the University Bookstore (Student Center) or call 620-235-4875 immediately.
PRESIDENT'S RECEPTION FOR GRADUATES AND THEIR GUESTS
President Tom Bryant will host a reception for all graduates, families, guests and faculty in the tent northwest of Garfied W. Weede Physical Education Building, 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2008 and 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 17, 2008. Light refreshments will be served.
HANDICAPPED ACCOMMODATION
Handicapped parking permits may be obtained prior to May 16 from the Registrar’s Office, Room 103, Russ Hall. Graduating students who need special accommodation at Commencement should contact the Registrar at 620-235-4206. The first two rows of guest seating in Weede are reserved for the elderly and handicapped. Persons requiring this seating should arrive early and seek assistance from the ushers, if needed.
PHOTOS AT COMMENCEMENT
A professional photographer will photograph each graduate on stage at the moment the President shakes the student's hand and also in front of the PSU banner when the student exits the stage. A full color proof will be provided directly to the graduate by e-mail and/or mail. There is no obligation to purchase a photograph. You and your family may preregister an email address and mailing address with
Graduation Images and they will contact you or your family just as soon as your photos are available for online viewing and ordering.

VIDEOTAPES OF COMMENCEMENT
A videotape of the Commencement ceremony will be available from Instructional Media, 332 Hartman Hall 620-235-4840, at a charge of $20.00 plus tax per VHS tape or DVD.
PROCESSIONAL
Please have your name card and be in your processional area by 7:15 p.m. on Friday evening and by 9:45 a.m. on Saturday morning. Processional begins promptly at 7:25 p.m. on Friday evening and at 9:55 a.m. on Saturday morning. See commencement map.

Processional
Faculty Marshals will escort students from their assembly rooms and will lead degree candidates to their seats. See commencement map. If you wish to sit with another graduating student, be sure to walk behind or in front of that student.
Conclusion of the Ceremony
Graduates will return to their seats after walking across the stage to receive their degrees. Please remain seated until the conclusion of the ceremony so that every graduate may be appropriately recognized on this special occasion.
