The Electrical Technology Program is a 2-year “hands-on” technical program. Graduates are prepared to become certified electricians by attaining Journeyman Electrical Certification.

The typical starting salary for the immediate area is $16.00-25.00 per hour. Salaries are significantly higher in larger metropolitan areas like Kansas City, MO, Wichita, KS, and Tulsa, OK.

The Electrical Technology program is committed to quality and in order to be successful creating graduates from the program, the following are a set of Student Outcomes.
The Electrical Technology program puts a heavy emphasis on being a “hands-on” learning experience. Students will be taught how to safely and properly use common electrical measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment within the electrical trades.
